Dermal Fillers

Lip Fillers

Our experienced practitioner can advise you on the best options, whether it be:

To increase the lip Fullness, create a stronger top and bottom lip, or to improve on a drooping mouth or lipstick lines.

  • Our range of gold standard lip filler treatments uses a smooth gel formula to deliver a natural look and feel to the treated area. Most lip enhancements are achieved through natural hyaluronic acid biodegradable dermal fillers which are specifically developed for the lips and mouth area and produce the most natural, long lasting results.

The skin on your lips is extremely thin, making them particularly vulnerable to ageing. Some hyaluronic acid dermal fillers help to fill in vertical lines, ease drooping lip corners and attract and retain moisture to smooth dry, dehydrated lips. Others have more volumising properties to contour your lips and define your cupid’s bow, as well as subtly plump up tired or deflated lips for a natural look.

We only use FDA-approved, naturally biodegradable lip fillers designed with safety and efficacy in mind. At your initial consultation with our qualified aesthetic practitioner, we’ll discuss a personalised lip filler treatment plan that’s just right for you.

  • The type of lip augmentation we recommend may vary depending on your age. For instance, you may want to achieve fuller-looking lips when in your 30s, but to smooth and reduce fine lines instead when in your 50s.

We may need to consider one, or a combination, of the following:

    • Softening lipstick bleed lines by enhancing the edge of your lips

    • Smoothing vertical lip lines, again by enhancing the edge of your lips

    • Creating a natural lip contour through restoring or enhancing volume in the body of your lip

    • Lifting the edges of your lips to restore their youthful position

    • Improving the philtrum column definition of your upper lip for a lovely cupid’s bow

    • Treating the marionette area underneath your mouth to provide support to the lip, help improve shadows in the area and your lower face profile contour.

  • The whole process takes just a few minutes and ice can be applied afterwards to reduce any slight swelling.

You should notice results right away, with optimum results seen 5-7 days after treatment once any potential light swelling has ceased.

  • Lip enhancement treatments can last 9 – 12 months.

  • We only use the safest, most effective FDA-approved, naturally biodegradable dermal fillers at PrettyAesthetics Clinic. These hyaluronic acid fillers closely mimic the natural hyaluronic acid in our skin. They are injected deep within the tissues, for superior lift and sculpting possibilities to revolumise cheeks as well as hydrate the skin.

A collagen stimulator is an injectable treatment that is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLA), which occurs naturally, and is sometimes referred to as a ‘liquid facelift’. It has been specially developed to stimulate the body’s own production of collagen to replace lost collagen and replenish volume in the face over time, with subtle and natural results.

  • Cheek fillers have a built-in aesthetic – Lidocaine. They can be used most effectively and naturally to restore areas of lost volume in the mid-face that occurs as we age, which often contributes to sagging and jowling. Strategic and skillful placement of filler can lift and support the face naturally, redefining the cheeks and adding support where it is needed most.

Nasolabial lines and marionette lines can also be treated together with the cheeks to generate a lifting effect, known as the Y-Lift.

  • Different facial fillers achieve different outcomes. At your initial consultation with our qualified medical practitioners, we’ll discuss a personalised treatment plan that’s tailored to you.

In order to balance your features further, we can:

    • Remodel your chin, and give more definition

    • Soften moderate lines in your mouth to chin area and from your nose to lip corners

    • Define or enhance lips, subtly and naturally

    • Define the jawline

    • Restore lost facial volume.

  • With dermal fillers, you should be able to notice the difference immediately as a non-surgical lift.

Collagen injections work to replace lost collagen and replenish volume in the face over time, with subtle and natural results achieved over several sessions.

  • Dermal fillers are semi-permanent and will break down over time depending on the area treated, so further treatment may be required to maintain your natural, understated appearance.

Most dermal fillers these days can last 6-12 months. Results from a collagen stimulation treatment can last up to two years.

Your aesthetics practitioner will give you all the advice you need.

  • Millions of dermal filler treatments have been performed worldwide and are extremely safe and effective when injected properly, resulting in the most natural of differences. The poly-L-lactic acid in collagen injections is biocompatible, fully absorbable, and successfully proven in a number of medical and pharmaceutical fields.

Neither form of treatment requires allergy testing.

Cheek Fillers

Dermal fillers and collagen-stimulating treatments are popular alternatives to cosmetic surgery.

Cheek fillers restore this lost volume, sculpting your face to provide a mid-face lift. Our expert practitioners offer various treatment options through dermal fillers and collagen stimulators.

We only use FDA approved dermal fillers.

Nose filler (non-surgical rhinoplasty)

Safer and faster than a traditional nose job, non-surgical rhinoplasty is the ideal solution to issues not concerning major size or shape changes. Desired results are achieved through administration of individually tailored dermal filler injections to the nasal area. Containing hyaluronic acid, the prescribed formulation works to correct your areas of concern naturally.

  • You may have heard of nonsurgical rhinoplasty referred to by its nicknames “liquid nose job” or “15-minute nose job.” A nonsurgical rhinoplasty is actually a dermal filler procedure that changes the shape of your nose for up to 12 months.

This procedure is ideal for people who are looking to smooth out bumps in their nose or make it look less angular but who aren’t ready for a permanent solution, or are worried about the risks and recovery time involved in a traditional rhinoplasty.

  • A nonsurgical rhinoplasty targets the bridge, tip, and sides of your nose. Fillers can be injected around any part of your nose to modify its shape.

This procedure works well if you want to:

    • smooth out small bumps in your nose

    • make the tip of your nose more prominent

    • add volume to your nose

    • lift the tip of your nose

    • Additionally, if you have a mild prominent bump of the bridge of your nose, it can camouflage it and smooth the contour of your nose profile.

Liquid rhinoplasty won’t be able to give you your desired results if you want your nose to look smaller.

  • You will notice result’s immediately.

  • The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. There is no downtime: you can resume your normal activities straight away.

Tear Trough Fillers

Dark circles and hollowing under the eyes is a giveaway of age. 'Tear Trough' treatment is a simple procedure that refreshes and rejuvenates tired eyes.

At The PrettyAesthetics Clinic, we perform tear trough treatments in the most natural way so you can look rested and feel revitalised. They are the most popular non-surgical aesthetic treatments for tired looking eyes.

  • The area between your lower eyelid and upper cheek is known as your tear trough. As you get older, this changes in appearance; it becomes longer, deeper and more shadowed. Although this is a normal process as we age, it gives the impression of being tired and less vibrant.

Tear trough rejuvenation is a specialised non-surgical aesthetic treatment performed using a hyaluronic acid injectable gel with built-in Lidocaine. This replaces lost volume and at the same time retains skin hydration. We may also suggest a treatment plan that includes strengthening the upper cheek to support the area as well as treating the tear trough itself for the best cosmetic result. These treatments are delivered with semi-permanent dermal fillers for a soft and natural correction.

  • You will notice results immediately.

  • Dermal fillers are not permanent and will break down over time. Your aesthetic practitioner will give you all the advice you need.

  • The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. There is no downtime: you can resume your normal activities straight away.

Chin filler

Our chin augmentation filler procedure can aesthetically enhance your facial features, balance your profile and create defined contours. By adjusting the height, width and projection of your chin with dermal fillers and can make subtle or dramatic changes to suit your individual goals and preferred look.

  • Chin filler is a dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a gel-like substance made from a naturally occurring substance in the body, is often used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and add volume and plumpness to the skin. However, when it is expertly used in the facial area, hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers are very safe.

When used to add shape and definition to the chin, jawline and cheek areas, they can provide immediate and accurate results. The actual procedure can be performed in as little as 30 minutes. Additionally, there is no downtime, so that you can return to everyday life immediately.

  • A well-balanced and symmetrical face is generally considered more attractive and plays a significant role in overall appearance. Using chin fillers to refine the size or shape of your chin and jawline can improve this balance and create subtle or more dramatic changes, depending on your desired outcome.

When we perform any type of aesthetic procedure, including chin fillers, we can reduce a double chin by increasing projection and sharpening your jawline to reduce the look of your jowls. By carefully placing hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, both women and men benefit from dermal fillers and can instantly have a more defined, lifted and younger-looking appearance.

If you feel your chin is too prominent or not prominent enough, chin augmentation with filler can improve your side profile, providing remarkable and immediately noticeable results. Our clinic can also administer non-surgical jawline reduction treatment to define the jaw area, improve facial proportions and create a slimmer-looking face.

  • Although dermal fillers aren’t permanent, they can last up to 18 months. This makes them an excellent, safe and long-lasting way to alter your facial contours and enhance the shape of your chin, jawline or cheeks.

Anti wrinkle treatment

Lines and wrinkles are a natural part of the ageing process, caused by the regular contraction of facial muscles below the surface of the skin.

A consultation for the treatment of lines and wrinkles will involve a dynamic assessment of the face; analysing the way the muscles are moving and contributing to lines and wrinkles on the skins surface. Where appropriate, various treatments may be recommended.

  • Botulinum toxin has been used medically in the UK since 1977, and within the cosmetic industry for around 20 years. It is a purified protein which is injected to temporarily relax the facial muscles responsible for causing lines and wrinkles. As the muscles relax, the overlying skin which has been creased tight into fine folds, also relaxes and lines and wrinkles smooth away.

  • The most common areas that are requested for treatment include frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet (lines around the eyes).

We are also experienced in subtly lifting or reshaping areas of the face, including the brow (to reshape and lift), jaw line (to slim), gummy smile (to lower a top lip and reduce the show of the upper gum), Marionette area (to lift a droopy smile), chin (to reduced dimpled appearance), platysmal bands in the neck (to reduce their visibility), smokers lines (to reduce fine lines along the upper lip) and bunny lines (to smooth the sides of the nose).

  • Effects begin to show between 3 and 14 days following treatment. We invite our clients back after two weeks to review the results, and make any fine adjustments where necessary. This is considered an integral part of the treatment and does not incur any extra charge.

  • Treatment results last an average of 3-4 months, although noticeably longer can be achieved in some cases. It is important to note that anti wrinkle injections to reduce lines and wrinkles or reshape the face is not a permanent solution. Lines, wrinkles and previous facial form will eventually return and further treatments will be required.

  • People begin to show signs of ageing at different ages. This is largely dictated by genetics and environmental factors. In addition, what might be a concern for one person, might be attractive or even un-noticed by another. As such there is no right answer to this question. What is important is that each individual is assessed on account of their own personal concerns, objectives and medical history. At PrettyAesthetics Clinic we have patients in their twenties through to their eighties. We do not offer treatment to patients under the age of 18.

Fat dissolving

Fat dissolving was developed for the non-surgical reduction of localized fat under the skin. It is an injectable, gel-based aqueous solution, which dissolves the fat and is biocompatible and biodegradable. Fat-dissolving injections work by injecting into the subcutaneous layer of fat, breaking down the fat cells allowing them to pass through the lymphatic system.

  • Fat dissolving injections are a treatment that reduces stubborn fat cells that cannot be eliminated through dieting and exercise. The injections are made from deoxycholic acid (DC) and when injected it dissolves the membranes of fat cells in the treated area. The fatty acids contained within the cell are then eliminated safely by macrophages and the liver. It is a safe and effective fat-dissolving treatment that is akin to liposuction, albeit non-invasive.

  • Fat dissolving injections can be used on most areas of the body, with the most popular being the chin, upper arms, waist, hips, and inner thighs. Although it can effectively get rid of the annoying fat in these areas, fat dissolving injections are not intended for weight loss, but rather for those with localised fat tissue which is not responding to a healthy diet or increased physical exercise.

  • Fat dissolving injections can offer a range of advantages, especially when compared to liposuction. It is fast and effective with most people needing between 2 and 4 treatments to see the best possible results. It is non-surgical so there are none of the risks and downtime that are associated with conventional liposuction. Fat is eliminated from the body over a 4-week period with full results staring around the 6-week mark. Fat dissolving injections can also provide mental benefits by increasing your confidence in how you look.

  • Fat dissolving injections are safe but following treatment, you will experience swelling and redness in the area where the fat has been dissolved for a few weeks. This starts to settle after a few days and is normally gone in 3-4 weeks. You may have some discomfort, but this is not usually severe. A little bruising is expected. You should not exercise for 5 days and some patients find mild compression clothing helps for non-facial treatment areas. A low-fat diet can help to increase the effectiveness of the treatment. The treatment is not offered to people who have lipodystrophy (a fat processing disorder), are prone to skin diseases, infections, or who are pregnant/breastfeeding.

  • One of the biggest advantages of fat dissolving injections is that the results are permanent! Once a fat cell has been destroyed, it has been permanently removed from your body. And this cannot be undone. However, one important thing to note is that if there are other fat cells in the area, that have not been targeted by the injection, these can actually become larger, if you were to gain weight or miss out on a healthy diet and exercise combination.

PDO thread lift

A thread lift is a procedure that uses a dissolvable suture to tighten and lift your skin. It’s a less invasive procedure than facelift surgery and can often be performed in under 45 minutes without needing to go under a scalpel.

Polydioxanone (PDO) thread lifts use a biodegradable polyester suture. They’re best suited for rejuvenating your skin while some newer types of thread lifts are better at lifting sagging skin.

  • PDO threads are one of three types of sutures commonly used in thread lift procedures. The other two types are made from polylactic acid (PLA) and polycaprolactone (PCA).

PDO threads have been around the longest of the three and have been used in surgeries since the 1980s. They’re made from a colorless polyester that breaks down in your body after about 6 months.

The presence of these sutures in your skin triggers cells in your body called fibroblasts to produce more collagen. Collagen is the protein that gives your skin its structure and elasticity. Loss of collagen is one of the main causes of aging skin.

    • PDO mono threads. Smooth sutures that help rejuvenate your skin by stimulating collagen production.

    • PDO cog threads. These threads have barbs that latch into your skin like small fishhooks, to provide support and lift parts of your face.

    • PDO screw threads. Made up of one or two intertwined threads, these are used to help restore volume to sunken parts of your skin.

  • A thread lift can treat most parts of your face that are experiencing signs of aging. The areas around your cheeks, jaw, neck, and eyes are among the most commonly treated areas.

Because the results of thread lifts aren’t as drastic as the results of facelift surgeries, thread lifts are commonly used together with other anti-aging procedures such as ultherapy or dermal fillers.

  • PDO COG threads are used to induce collagen production in the skin and define the facial contours. They can provide immediate results that continue to improve peaking at 3-6 months and lasting between 2-3 years.

Vitamin B12 injection

Injections of Vitamin B12 are becoming more in demand as people become aware of the many benefits, as well as the link between a lack of Vitamin B12 and various associated ailments or illnesses. These injections are the best way of rapidly boosting your levels, having an almost instant impact on your health and wellbeing.

  • Vitamin B12 is vital for the adequate functioning of our digestive system and defends us against harmful viruses and bacteria. Vitamin B12 deficiencies affect the way in which our bodies use valuable energy. Stress, fatigue and 'brain fog' as well as reduced physical stamina are common side effects of Vitamin B12 deficiency. Benefits of Vitamin B12 injections in the treatment of these, as well as serious issues including dementia and panic disorder, have come to light within the past twenty years. Recently, the increasing popularity of veganism has made B12 shots more popular than ever before.

  • The benefits of Vitamin B12 injections include a healthier cardiovascular system, and for this reason, we always recommend a course of treatments to individuals who are looking to achieve maximum health and energy improvements. It is certainly evident that high concentrations of Vitamin B12 are an essential component of a healthy and active lifestyle.

For healthy individuals, the benefits of having vitamin B12 injections include an improvement in overall cerebral functioning as well as physical and psychological well being. As a moderate appetite suppressant, one of the other potential benefits of B12 injections is easier weight loss. They can be used intermittently and are a popular rejuvenation therapy for exhaustion, 'burn out', migraines and - of course - post-party nausea!

  • The symptoms of B12 deficiency can include numbness in the hands and feet, balance problems, depression, confusion, dementia, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, weakness, and tiredness. Additionally, people with B12 deficiency may experience a sore mouth or tongue.

Skin Boosters

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, they are not injected beneath the skin to volumise or shape the face. Instead, they are very fine dermal fillers that are injected into the skin to hydrate and improve skin quality. This type of dermal filler can be injected over large treatment areas of the face, neck, and hands to increase the skin’s hydration quality.

  • Skin boosters are anti-ageing injectable treatments that aim to re-hydrate the skin and increase production of collagen and elastin to give improvements to your complexion.
Skin boosters contain Hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a natural substance produced in the body. As we age the levels of HA in the skin will get depleted, leading to lesser amounts of collagen and reduced skin elasticity. Skin boosters work to counteract this depletion.
As well as the HA element, most skin boosters contain additional ingredients such as amino acids for added benefits.

  • Mesotherapy Treatment (skin boosters) involves tiny injections of a potent skin rejuvenating cocktail of Hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids directly into the mesoderm (middle layer of the skin).

    Mesotherapy rejuvenates from the inside.
Unlike topical treatments – which treat the top layer of skin – mesotherapy works from within the skin to promote collagen, elastin, and cellular turnover.

Mesotherapy treatment can be used for face, neck and under-eye rejuvenation and also for common concerns such as hair thinning, topical fat dissolving and anticellulite treatment.

The treatment can be used as a complement to other skincare treatments, including skin peels, anti-wrinkle, and dermal fillers.

  • Each skin booster type comes with different recommendations and everyone’s skin is different. What we recommend would depend on a few factors but in general, one treatment followed by another approximately one month after is suggested for the optimal results for ProfHilo. Following that a ‘maintenance dose’ is suggested roughly every 6 months.

Polynucliotides

Polynucleotides are a type of injectable bio-stimulator that consist of stretchy molecules crafted from fragments of DNA. Unlike traditional fillers that predominantly add volume, this injectable enhances skin quality by targeting free radicals, boosting hydration and promoting tissue regeneration. Experience the beauty of improved skin texture and vitality with this revolutionary treatment.

  • Polynucleotides, abbreviated as PN, is an innovative treatment from DNA traces turned into the most powerful dermatology procedure to have ever existed. This treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production and healing of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (redness) due to acne or sun damage. It also moisturizes your skin so that it looks plumper and radiant. Plus, these molecules reduce inflammation, irritation and redness, increase skin elasticity, and make you look younger. Giving your skin a dose of PN makes your skin look fresh and renewed.
